Obituary of Mrs. Indra Geraldine De Silva

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Indra De Silva on Saturday May 14, 2022. She is predeceased by her ever loving husband of 44 years, Anthony Leonard De Silva and baby daughter Nilandra. She is survived by her two children Joseph and Christopher, her daughter-in-law Afsheen, and siblings Russell, Barbara, Basil, Sushilla and Sarojini.

Indra was born on July 21, 1945 to Kanniah and Margaret Rajamanie and was the second of six siblings. 

Indra will be dearly missed by her two sons, siblings, relatives and friends.  She will be always remembered fondly as a loving and devoted mother, sister and dear friend.  She will also be remembered as a generous, caring, larger than life and passionate person who absolutely loved cooking for her family and friends and would spend endless hours gardening. 

Indra was a beautiful soul and may she rest in eternal peace.
