Obituary of Mrs. Domenica Abate

Domenica Abate passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 4, 2022. She is

predeceased by her loving husband Michele of 52 years of marriage. She is survived by her dear

children Dina (Tom), Clara (Nunzio), Enza (Richard), Vanessa (Jonathan) and her adored

grandchildren Matthew, Alessia, Nicholas, Nadia, Nicola, Milana and Lucas. She will be dearly

missed by her siblings Lucrezia (John), Filomena (Cesare) and Luca (Ivona). She is

predeceased by her parents Tommaso and Chiara Tomanelli.

Domenica will be remembered as a devoted wife, caring mother, loving nonna, admired sister

and zia. She loved spending time surrounded by her family and friends. As a seamstress, her

passion was sewing outfits for her daughters, grandchildren and friends. She spent her days

cooking and baking for her family with fruits and vegetables grown from her husbands garden.

Many of her greatest memories was vacationing to sunny destinations with her husband and her

entire family.
