Roli Arifin, 59, of Toronto, Canada, peacefully passed away on May 1st, 2022 at Centenary Hospital. He was born to Arifin and Hui Sui Hiong in Medan, Indonesia on September 6th, 1962. He graduated from University of North Sumatra and was well regarded amongst his peers as one of the top students in the class. After moving his immediate family to Toronto in 2000 and receiving his CMA in 2002, he continued to work in Indonesia and around the world to help support his family and friends.

            He was married to Suliani Tju in 1990, who survives him. Roli is also survived by son Felix Arifin and his spouse Cheryl Cornette, Fabian Arifin, his siblings Rolan and partner Sijani, Rowan and partner Ella, Cyrus and partner Erwin, Rowis and partner Lies, and mother Hui Sui Hiong, as well as a host of nephews and nieces. Roli was predeceased by his father Arifin.

            Though he will be greatly missed, his presence, laughter, and love will be felt and remembered by all. His memorial service will be celebrated on May 21st, 11:30 AM EST at St. Thomas More Parish, and will be live-streamed on YouTube.
