Obituary of Mr. James Williams

A life well lived. 

After a brief illness , James (Jim) Frederick Williams passed away on April 14, 2022 at the age of 89.  
Dearly loved husband of Julianna.   Cherished father of Debora (Glen), Mark (Louise) and a much loved grandfather of Mathew(Meagan) Ethan(Val)), Sarah, Aidan and great grandfather of Desmond James.   Jim as second father, to Sheryl (Dan), Paul (Angela) and grandfather to Danielle (Jamie) Adrienne (Marc) Emily (Andy) and Lara, his presence and love will be missed.   Jim was a long time teacher, guidance head and alternatives councillor with North York Board of Education.  He also served on the board directors for the North York Community Credit Union. In younger years, Jim enjoyed playing sports which then turned into a love of watching his favourite teams.  Jim lived in England for a short period in his youth, and remained close with his UK relatives through out his life.    Jim will be remembered by his former wife Gwen Williams (Duncan) and missed by lifelong friends Tom (Pat) Parker and Jack (Lois) Montgomery.  


A celebration of life will take place May 28, 2022 at Ogden FH. From 2-5.
