"Dear Daddy, Aunty Sandra, Uncle Steve, Aunty Brenda, Aunty Lynda and Cousins,
My name is Amanda Natalie Swamy, I am the daughter of Dennis Swamy).
I am thinking of you all and wishing you peace and comfort as you celebrate your Mom and My Grandmother's remarkable life.
Here in the United Kingdom Deepak and I, his parents, and children are keeping all of your families in our thoughts and prayers.
Grandma Swamy's life deserves to be celebrated over and over again.
Her beautiful picture tells 1000 words. She had charm and beauty in her younger years.
We all know Grandma, in different ways and have our own special memories. I remember mostly, when my brothers and I were little, how happy we were when Her and Grandpa gave us money in an envelope on our birthdays and Christmas. As I got older, I came to realize the importance of a grandma’s love. I take peace in knowing that wherever she is, she's with my Grandpa, whose love she still carried with her everywhere.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and family. I felt so loved when she came to meet my future Husband and In-Laws from England when I got Engaged. She represented me well in her dressing and in her speech. My most memorable time of her is in her read dress dancing with me at my wedding. Everyone was amazed at her energy. It was a happy feeling.
I am so much comforted knowing that I came with my husband and 2 boys to spend some time with her during Christmas time.
I’m very pleased to know that she has lived a beautiful long life and will be joining Grandpa in heaven. Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories.
Those we hold closest never leave us. They live on in the kindness they’ve shared and the love they brought into our lives. We will miss you Grandma. We have all our beautiful memories in our hearts and you will never be forgotten. Grandma thank you for your infinite love.
We will miss you Grandma and Grandma-Great.
I will always pray for my Grandmother, for her happiness and peace.
May her soul and the soul of all the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. "

Sending my deepest condolences to the Swamy family.
It has been a privilege to share the past 8 beautiful years with Eva. She was nothing short of an excellent friend and teacher.
She's shared memories of her glorious married life and it has always been a delight to listen to her and learn from her. She was very generous with her experiences and taught me to prepare excellent fish curry and roti in her style. I will forever remember how proud she was of my first attempts.
Eva was always trying to connect and make the day brighter. She once learned a bit of French with me to talk and surprise her grand-daughter. I have fond memories translating her non-subtitled indian shows and keeping her happily updated as we followed along each episode. We got to understand each other very well - even with fewer words as time went on.
Eva cared for me as much I as did for her. I am very grateful to have been lucky enough to be with her until the last days. I will miss her forever and will treasure the time that we spent together.
