We mourn the passing of our beloved Sis Evans. She’s run the race and God has released her from earthly trials and strife. I have very fond memories of the times spent with her, Pastor Evans and her four beautiful children - especially at Goldswong Terrace. My mother would send me to help her out with the children. She was always welcoming and it was always a pleasure. I admired the 100% love, care and attention you gave to her family – always! She also deserves much admiration and respect to have grown up her children for so many years on her own after the tragic death of her husband. She was a beautiful woman - both on the outside and inside. When Sis Evans moved to Canada there was great distance between us but she was always in my thoughts. She’s gone but will never be forgotten as she has a special place my heart. As my brother David said in his tribute, the Thomas family are very grateful for the help and support Sis Evans gave us after the death of our beloved mother. We’ll miss her warm smile, gentleness and loyalty. I know she’s a much loved mother and grandmother and she’d be saying to you all “Go on with your life; don’t worry about falls, so keep up your chin, until the day comes when we’re together again”. The Bean family will say “Go silent friend, we do not grudge your glory, sing, sing with joy, deep praises to your lord. You, who believed that Christ would come back for you, now celebrate that Jesus keeps his word”. Rest in sweet, heavenly peace! Nicketa, Clive and Marcus Bean
