Irineo Dizon Monzon, 74, passed away on March 12, 2022 at Scarborough General Hospital, Toronto, Canada. He was the husband of Maria Luisa Costiniano and they shared 52 years of marriage together.

 

Born in Manila, Philippines on July 11, 1947, Irineo was the son of Colonel Gregorio Piamonte Monzon and Benita Dizon Monzon. He studied at FEATI University as an air pilot in 1968 and later moved to Canada to work in circuit board and aerospace technology.

 

In addition to his loving wife, Irineo is survived by his sons, Erwin (Jo-Anne), Edwin (Jane), Ermin (Mila), and Edward (Rachenne); his grandchildren, Matthew, Meagan, Ariella, Lauryn, Jarius, Isaiah, and Khloe; and his sisters, Virginia and Luzviminda. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Leonardo and Leonilo.

 

The viewing and funeral service will be held on March 21, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Ogden Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 PM.
