I have played the pony's twice in my life, once with Uncle Jim when Julie and I were 11years old (and we won!) and again when I was much older and my brother and I were visiting you guys in P.E.I. - I won again! I have never forgotten those times with him, how he made me laugh and smile, he always had a sparkle in his eyes and his whole face would light up. I am sad to see him gone Aunt Mary, I know your faith and his genuine heart will see him in a safe and loving place where he will always be by your side as a wonderful angel watching over you and your wonderful family! Love you lots and peace be always with you.

Our deepest sympathies to Mary and family from the Lloyd and Anna Smith clan on the passing of a wonderful man. I had the pleasure of working with Jim on mutual accounting clients over the years and learned much from him. He was my second cousin and always kept me entertained with stories of relatives, some of which I knew, many of which I did not. Jim must have known everyone in P.E.I.! I will never forget his regular phone calls to me during the year my Dad, Lloyd, was sick. He made me laugh when I thought I would never laugh again. Jim will be missed very much. Love, Joanne Smith and family

I am so sad to hear about Jim.
What a great person he was! They say that laughter is the ‘best medicine’ and
whenever we were in Jim’s company there was always laughter with his fantastic sense of humour.
For sure he has a ‘gold deck chair’ in heaven!
My thoughts and prayers to you Mary and all your wonderful family!!
Love Pam Cook

My condolences to the Johnston family, remember all the good times through these difficult times.

The laughs we use to have leaving money under the pillow in their (our) room at the cottage!
Mr. Johnston driving us to school in the mornings.
And when they went away for a holiday, when we were teenagers, and left Margaret behind with the car! Little did we know he took the mileage before hand…and Margaret got busted for putting 800 miles on the vehicle!
Jim, I enjoyed out times when we got together.
Love Horace and Donna
