Obituary of Mrs. Inez Atkins

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 2, 2022.  

She is survived by her son Ron and his wife Susan. Ron’s stepson Stephen (Dina) and their children William, James and Stephanie.

Son John (late wife Cyndy) and partner Pam. Cherished grandchildren, Kyle (Tina) and Brooke (Matt). Beloved Gigi to Avery and Hayes.

Son Gord and his wife Karen. Cherish grandchildren Karlie (Cam), Robyn, Katelyn (Tait) and Chris (Mel). Great grandmother to Bryn, Avyn, Callum, Ella, Nolan and new baby Ava.

Inez was born in Quebec and moved to Ontario as a baby. She attended Agincourt High School and then attended business school in the early 1940’s. Upon graduation, she worked in a lawyer’s office before deciding to dedicate herself to full time motherhood.

She was a lover of all animals but dogs in particular. She proudly resided in the same family residence in Agincourt, since the early 1950's until 6 months ago.

She loved to knit and to cook and to garden. Inez was always willing to open up her home to friends and her son’s friends were always welcome as well. She enjoyed the great outdoors at Prospect Lake and she took some very interesting trips around the world in her lifetime.

Inez truly found joy in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. We are all happy that she will be reunited with her husband William, whom she loved very much.
