Aunt Irene,
You had such a bright and loud personality. Never afraid to tell it like it was! Of course will have more family BBQ's where we will celebrate the wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and and awesome aunt you are though it will never be the same without you. I know you're at rest now and I'm sure you know we will proudly carry you in our hearts forever.
We love you Aunt Irene
Christine, Carmelo, Leah and Scarlett.

I only knew Irene (and Robbie) for a few years before we moved to BC, but always enjoyed our weekends together.
We had a great time playing euchre for hours, cooking for each other and if course her Shazam like knowledge of music. Thinking about it I don't think I ever stumped her after playing a few notes of a song.

I can't believe you are gone!!! You were in my life for over 40 years. One of the things I missed most when I moved to BC were our rotation of weekends together playing cards and having so many laughs together. I loved you and your energy!
In one of our last long talks we spoke about how much you loved Matilda, how you were retired and able to spend so much more time with her. We also talked about how lucky you were to have found the love of your life in Robbie, having such a great relationship and how much you guys loved each other. You could always tell (even when you weren't pinching his cheek and telling him).
My heart hurts missing you but remembering all our good times. Thinking of you guys, Robbie, Lindsay and Shawne. May you have the strength to get through this very difficult time.
Until we meet again... bye my friend :(

I will miss Irene for the rest of my life. She was an amazing person who always made me laugh and like myself, had no filter. I think that’s what I will miss the most.
One year she found out that Bill and I were going to be on our own for Christmas dinner. She told us we were welcome to come over that they had tons of food. We had one of the best times ever! The dinner was delicious but the company was so much better. The whole family made us feel so welcome. We laughed the whole time. We loved it.
Family was first with Irene and Robbie. If everyone had doting parents like Irene & Robbie the world would be a nicer place to live. She loved Robbie, Shawn & Lindsay with everything she had. She was so proud of the three of them. When Lindsay & Jordan had Matilda Irene and Robbie were over the moon. Irene sent me countless pictures and videos of little Tilly.
We will never forget you my friend. You will forever be in my heart.
Rest In Peace. The world was a better place with you in it.
Love always Sheila & Bill
