To Claire, Lynn,David and Mary-Lou and your families: Aunty Yvonne was a very great lady. A wonderful friend to mom and all of us. She was a very kind soul and very much respected by the Mendonca family. It won’t be easy dealing with such a loss so our prayers are with you. I can imagine the reunion going on up there. You mean the world to me. I am the proudest man on earth to have been the first in law to enter your family with open and welcoming arms. I miss you. I can’t believe you’re actually gone. I keep picking up the phone to call, but I have to stop and remind myself that you won’t be there to answer. I will always remember when Mom and I would make the drive from the states to come see you Grandma. The whole trip was always so great because I would get to see you along with everyone else.
I know that as a kid I couldn't fully appreciate how much the memories would mean, but I am thoroughly glad to have been able to do it in the past. Those memories may be in the past but that is just one way that I can still see. I look back on these memories of coming to visit as some of the fondest I have.
