We knew her as Ms. Chang. She was always smiling, inviting, and cheerful. She was like a second mom. We are heartbroken to hear of her passing but she will be remembered by many because of her kindness and light.
Ms. Chang.... May you rest in the arms of the Lord who formed you from the dust of the earth. May holy Mary, the angels and all the saints welcome you now that you have gone forth from this life. Rest in eternal peace.

To the family of Mrs. Joanne Deane,
I want to send my love a condolences during this extremely difficult time. I know Joanne as Ms. Chang. She was a second mother to me when I was growing up. She always welcomed me into her home with open arms. Ms Chang you were sweet, gentle, supportive and loving. Your sweet innocent smile will always be remembered and your memories forever cherished. May the Lord be with your family at this time and may they find peace. Your memory will live on in your daughter and son (who look just like you) as well as your beautiful grandchildren. Joanne, my dear friend for over 45 years.
To know Joanne, is to know a kind, soft-spoken and gentle soul. In all our years of friendship, and raising our families, I learned so much from her: patience, respect, understanding, slow to anger, non-judgmental, tolerance and acceptance. That's a lot to teach for her short time on earth, especially for slow learners like me. But underneath her meek demeanor, was a woman who faced life's challenges with strength, fortitude, faith and love, with joyous outcomes. Her unconditional love and loyalty for family and friends is to be admired. Joanne, may you rest in peace, with the knowledge that you left the world a better place. Your star continues to shine brightly through your beautiful children, Yasmine and Sanford and grandchildren.
