Obituary of Mrs. Aurelia Bayney
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Aurelia Bayney on Decemeber 09, 2021 at the Scarborough Birchmount Hospital.
Aurelia, the daughter of Ioana and Dumitru Mocanu, was born on July 31, 1942 in Galatzi, Romania and graduated in 1965 from the Bucharest University – faculty of Biology and started her teaching career.
Aurelia married her university sweetheart Ronald in April 1964 and emigrated to Guyana in 1967. Aurelia’s career continued at the Government Technical Institute for 5 years and then Bishops High School until they immigrated to Canada in 1975. Aurelia accompanied her husband to Ottawa and then returned to Toronto in 1980. Aurelia travelled extensively with her husband during his career postings and yearly vacations.
Aurelia retired from her Senior Computer Operators position in 1990 and became a model housewife.
Aurelia is survived by her husband Ronald, nephew Florinel and niece Daciana.
A viewing will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday December 14, 2021 at Ogden Funeral Homes, 4164 Sheppard Ave E, Toronto, ON.
