I was so very sorry to hear of the passing of Fiona's Mom Deodita. I remember her being a very strong, but kind personality when Fiona and I were in high school. She had a beautiful flower garden that she tended with a white picket fence that everyone could see as they drove past on Ellesmere. Fiona recently reminded me of how her mom told us that we couldn't go on our planned trip to Europe until we fixed the fence that I had backed into driving my parents' car! Luckily we got the fence fixed and the trip was on. I hope Deodita is in a beautiful place with a lovely garden for her to enjoy.

It is with great sadness to hear of the passing of Dorothy, Fiona's mom. When we visited Dorothy at her nursing home, I will always remember the joy on Dorothy's face when she first saw Fiona and the dogs (Duke and Bailey). The highlight was playing ball with the dogs in the long hallway - with several resident's participating. As a treat, afterwards we went to a local hairdresser - and all got our hair done! We returned to Dorothy's suite, had a cup of tea and took a well deserved afternoon nap. I had the privilege of meeting Dorothy at this special occasion, but she made me feel very welcome. She will be dearly missed. John
