Obituary of Mr. Wing Chang Tham 譚永健先生

Wing Chang “Ken” Tham - aged 61 - passed away on November 27th, 2021 after a hard fought
battle with cancer.
Ken was born on October 3rd 1960 in Kolkata, India, when his parents were there for a work
assignment. He was the fourth of seven children in his family. Four years later the family moved
back to Hong Kong. At the age of 19 he immigrated to Toronto, Canada for work, and has built a
prosperous life and family here ever since.
Ken was always focused on taking care of his family, and joined the workforce early in his youth to
help provide for his siblings. He was an avid reader and lifelong learner, always eager to learn and
discuss new topics with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Daisy; son Ryan and his wife, Ava. Funeral services will be
held on 12:00AM Saturday Dec 4th 2021, at Ogden Funeral Homes, 4164 Sheppard Ave E,
Scarborough, ON M1S 1T3. A viewing service is also open between 4:00PM-7:00PM Friday Dec 3rd.
