Obituary of Mr. Horacio Arruda

It is with profound sadness that the family of Horacio Arruda of Oshawa, announces his peaceful passing on November 4th at the age of 83 years.  

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Maria Liduina; daughters: Wendy (Elson Bettencourt) and Shelley (Nilton Pacheco); grandchildren:  Aydan and Alayna; nieces:  Bernadette Reis and Marie Faria; great nieces and nephews; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

He was pre-deceased by his sister, Zulmira Viveiros; and his parents, Manuel and Francelina Dos Santos Arruda.

He was one of the founding parishioners of Our Lady of the Rosary, and a devoted member of the Brotherhood of the Divine Holy Spirit.  He volunteered many hours at his church which brought him immense joy.  It was a place for him to celebrate his faith and culture and gave him a great sense of comradery.  His commitment was a true reflection of his devotion to his faith and how he lived.
