Dear Aunt Linda and Uncle Fred, I am so heartbroken over Ian’s death. Sadness rushes through me. I can’t imagine how difficult this must be. My thoughts are with you. Ian and I grew up together, and he was like my younger brother. I have fond memories of walking to school each day together and coming back home to have lunch with Grandma or watching cartoons together after school. I’m only left with good memories. My only solace is I know Grandma will continue to look after Ian now. I don’t remember my childhood without Ian. Strong family ties brought us together. So many important childhood moments and Ian was a part of them…Florida road trip…cottage regatta…summers at the CNE. He’ll be eternally in my heart, Love Keiko
