We met Val at Joy City Church, and ever since then she has brought so much joy to our lives. Val was so deeply loved by us, and she deeply loved us. She was always a source of warmth, kindness and thoughtfulness to those who were fortunate enough to know her. Whenever we saw birthday or Christmas cards in the mail from her, it would bring a big spark of joy to our lives. We loved being around her and she loved being around us, and we will truly miss her presence. We know she is now with our Father in Heaven and that we will meet again soon. Rose and family - you are in our prayers and we pray that our Lord brings you comfort and peace and friendships during this incredibly difficult time. Please don't hesitate to reach out if we can offer our help in any way.
Our deepest condolences.
Love,
The Lee Family
(Peter, Sharron, and Lexi)

Dear Vere and Rosie, our hearts share in the loss of Val. We hope the knowledge of how much Val was loved and how much she will be missed is a consolation to you. Val was so often the first one at church on a Sunday morning and she participated with all her heart. She cared deeply about her family and friends and would ask for prayer for those in her life who were in need. I will miss her joy and her jokes with Edgar and I.
We pray for God’s comfort and strength for you and all of us who knew and loved Val.
Pat and Edgar Daniels

I am at a lost for words, I am also heart broken to hear of the sudden and untimely departure of a member of our family.
I know the heart of Val's immediate family must be shattered. Its not to long ago the Matriarch of this family passed. To my cuz Veer and Rose Marie please accept my condolences on behalf of the Palmers of Queen Street, Kingstown, St. Vincent and in the USA.
Veer no one knows of Val's death. I am calling around for information but can't get any.

Valerie was a ray of sunshine in our day at CTV News. On many occasions, I found myself going into work all wrapped up in the busy morning I'd had, yet when Valerie yelled out a warm "Hi!' on the way in and went in for a hug, my day instantly turned around. She was a positive, sweet, and kind presence in our lives. We are heartbroken to learn of her passing and will miss her deeply.
My sincere condolences,
Michelle Dubé
