My parents and I were so saddened to hear of Mr. Lahey's passing. He would always chat with us after Mass and make us laugh.
Although it has been many years since I've seen him, I remember him fondly. No one can forget such an outgoing and gregarious man. I will always miss his kindness, quick wit and great sense of humour. He was truly one of the stalwarts at St. Aidan's Parish. May God bless him always and grant him eternal rest.

Dear Aunt Jacquie, Emmanuel, Monique, Jennifer and Steven,
I wish that I could be there with you all. Uncle Terry was the most wonderful man and I love him dearly. He always reminded me of dad in how God loving, playful and endearing he was. I often remember the story of when he literally gave me life as he drove my mom around at 8 mos pregnant way too fast, leading to my early delivery! He must have been in a rush to greet me! Please know that I am with you in heart and spirit. May God bring Uncle Terry home and to everlasting peace. Many hugs to you all.

Dear Auntie Jacquie, Monique, Emmanuel, Jennifer & Steven:
We are so sorry to hear the passing of Uncle Terry. He always holds a special place in my heart, not because of all the candy/chocolate he would sneak into my pockets at church when mom & dad weren’t looking… but his smile was so contagious. His hearing aids gave me confidence with speaking louder that’s for sure! He supported my decision about joining the military and he was over the moon when he met Alex and learned he was also in the Navy. Both Auntie Jacquie & Uncle Terry inspired me so much with their love and positivity. Thank you for introducing my dad to the Knights of Columbus over 30 years ago.
Tomorrow is Uncle Terry’s. funeral and tomorrow is also my 30th birthday, I am blessed to share the day with a send off for him to Heaven. May he rest in eternal peace.
Fairwinds and following seas, we have the watch.

Terry and Jacquie you shared a life of love, faith and laughter. I enjoyed meeting Terry any time I visited you and how he would call me by my full name! I only got to know Terry in his latter years but I soon discovered his humour! It is always so entertaining hearing anecdotes from your past. We were always inspired to see how positively Terry handled his challenges and how devotedly you cared for him, Jacquie. Mom recalls the evening we spent with Terry and how graciously he invited us to dine with him. He's a friend we will always remember.

Terry was a huge part of our lives being married to our cherished cousin Jacquie. We never missed an opportunity to spend time with them whenever we found our way to Toronto and Terry was without fail very welcoming, very loving and cheerful and full of fun. Dear Jacquie, Monique & Emanuel:
Our deepest condolences on the passing of Terry Lahey. We remember those good old days when St. Aidan Knights of Columbus was initiated in 1993. Terry was Wilfred's sponsor to join the Knights. For the First Degree, Terry drove him in his Mustang 5.0 and it was certainly a jolly good ride. Terry always had a twinkle in his eye. We visited Terry at Toronto General after his heart surgery and we cracked up joking so much, that even the nurses came and joined us.
It was truly a blessing to have Terry at all parties at St. Aidan Church. Terry was, indeed, a man of family, faith and fun. Our daughters, Marcia and Judith and their husbands, Larry and Alex, send deepest condolences to you.
