Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday September 2, 2021.    Beloved wife of the late William Armstrong.     Loving mother of Elizabeth (Bill) and John.     Cherished Grandma of Bradley and Michael.     Predeceased by her sister Mae (the late Fred), and brothers Ralph and Raymond.     Sadly missed by sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces & nephews and friends.     

 

Helen attended Humberside Collegiate before starting work at a law office that eventually became known as McMaster McIntyre & Smyth. 

   

After raising Elizabeth and John and being an active leader in the Girl Guides, she returned to the same law office until retirement.     

 

She enjoyed watching Blue Jays games, travelling to Florida with her husband Bill, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.     

 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
