Obituary of Mrs. Betty Lorraine King

We are deeply saddened to announce that Betty Lorraine King passed away peacefully at home August 23, 2021 leaving behind her beloved Husband, Bruce of over 75 years. Betty was a loving Mother to her twin sons, Grant (Dianne) and Gary (Dale) and to her daughters Diane and Janet. She was also a loving Aunt to her only niece Judy. She was a devoted grandmother to; Brian (Vanessa), Ross, Laurie, Cherith, Jennifer (Mike), Lisa, Steven (Erinn) and Sean (Kari). She leaves her dear great-grandchildren; Camille, Fisher, Sterling, Ethan, Camden and Kayson who brought her so much joy. 

Betty had many interests over the years. She loved line dancing, gardening, working at the library, travel and art, but most of all she loved people. She valued education and earned her Bachelors of Arts at the age of 64. 

Betty will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but will live on forever in our hearts.

Although we know she touched many lives, her funeral service will be held privately for her family at Ogden Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations made in Betty’s honour to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
