                                          August 5, 1928 - August 20, 2021

Ethel passed away peacefully at West Shore Village Retirement Home in Port Perry.  Ethel was predeceased earlier this year by her loving husband John (Jack) R. McCowan.  Ethel was also predeceased by her brother Ellis Britton and his wife Dorothy.  Ethel will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Ethel was born in Scarborough, Ontario and was the daughter of Boden and Laura Britton.  After retiring Ethel and Jack moved to Port Perry for a quieter life.

We wish to thank all the staff at West Shore Village for their care.

We will miss her dearly.  The memories that we have all shared over the years will forever be etched in our heartys.  The family is planning a memorial service in her honour at a later date. Check the Ogden Funeral Home website for updates.
