You were such a great brother when I was growing up. You were our leader in soccer and hockey and camping. You were always such a spiritual person, so peaceful and harmless. My dear cousins
We the cousins in Trinidad and Tobago received the sad news of Richard's passing with shock and great sadness. We extend our sincere condolences to you all.
I remenber Richard being very quiet before the family migrated to Canada. Whenever we visited your home at Imrie Street, we all played in the yard and had so much fun. Richard never got into any trouble because he was not as mischievous as my brothers.
My last memory of Richard is on my visit to their home in 2019 in transit to Israel. It was a very brief stop over, but I had just enough time to go see my dear Aunt Isabel. I insisted on leaving Pearson Airport, although we were in transit!
I remember Richard coming out to greet us.
He was a man of few words and had a very peaceful disposition.
It is written in the Word of God, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I am certain that Richard is in the presence of God where he has been re-united with the rest of the family who have gone before.
I pray that God will strengthen and comfort you all as you bid farewell, for you will one day meet again. Today, Richard has gained immortality as promised by Almighty God.
Rest in peace dear cousin.
My brother Junior said he was fortunate to see Richard when he vacationed about 3 years ago.

My dear "brother" Richard, you were an all round great guy and an awesome uncle. My childhood would not have been nearly the same without you in my life. You introduced me to so many amazing things in this life that I probably would not have ever really appreciated, were it not for you. I will cherish all the good times we had together, the sports, the camping and the jokes. You were such a peaceful and gentle soul and I will miss you dearly from the bottom of my broken heart.
