Obituary of Mr. Bill Jean

Bill Jip Jean passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021 at the age of 85 years old. Bill was born in China and came to Canada when he was 15. He worked hard to send money back to support his family back in China. He met his wife, Vicenta in Waterloo, ON and married in 1963. They were inseparable for 58 years. Both Bill and Vicenta sponsored Bill’s parents and family to come to Canada. They brought up two children, May and Jeff, and proceeded to care for their two grandchildren, Olivia and Liam.

Bill will be remembered for always being hard-working, humble and never wanting the limelight. Bill was a special person who was always willing to help everyone, and would never ask for help in return.  He was a loving husband, caring father, and spoiling grandfather.

Due to the ongoing pandemic situation, we will not be hosting a full gathering. A celebration of life will be held at a later time.

Donations to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
