Bill, it's still hard to believe you're gone. Thank you for all the incredible support and encouragement you showed me. You were a friend and role model that I desperately needed, and it's not an overstatement to say that I wouldn't be where I am today without you. I was at a loss with what to do with myself when we met, and you just kept me moving forward. I remember all the times you showed up with a smile, your passion whenever it came to music, and your genuine enthusiasm whenever we happened to catch up at work after months apart. Thank you for being that mentor to me, however brief that time may have been. Sorry, I never got to buy you that drink. You are sorely missed, and will not be forgotten.

Bill, growing up you were like a second dad to me, while I was constantly at your house. I have so many fond memories of you. I looked up to your artistic and musical talent. You created the warmest home with your kindness and care. Your home was always filled with your infectious smile, tasty food and warm wall colours. You will be missed dearly. My deepest condolences to Leely, Melody and Kenny and to my cousins Dorothy, Mary and Henry and Aunt Sim. I'll remember Cousin Bill as a warm and caring person who always had a big smile on his face. I looked up to him growing up and always thought he was pretty cool, especially since he played the drums. His talent in music, art and anything he put his mind to was unmatched. His loss will be felt throughout the family.

My deepest condolences to Leely, Melody, Kenny, Ma Chong, Henry, Mary, Dorothy and the extended Chong family. Bill is a such special being – so kind, caring, thoughtful, wise, a great family man, and so creative!! I feel so lucky to have known Bill and I know there are so many who love, appreciate, and are inspired by him. He will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the extended family at this time.

Our sincere condolences to Leely, Melody, Kenny and the extended Chong family. Our hearts and thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
One of my fond/funny memories is when I saw Leely and William when I was driving in downtown Montreal. I yelled out something like "Mr and Mrs Chong!", They didn't see me, and I forgot to tell Melody I saw them, so for years they didn't know who yelled their names.
Thank you for the kind hospitality when the AMC crew would come over.

One memory I have of Bill is him helping to set up my bed in my new condo space a few years ago. He probably didn't think it was a big deal, but it was for me. It saved me from one more thing to do and it was just a show of support that I really appreciated.

I met Bill in the 7th Grade and he was the coolest and best looking guy in the room. When I got to know him, I found he was also a kind, thoughtful, and talented friend. We will cherish the memories of us spending great times together and he will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace, Bill.
