I am deeply saddened to hear of Santi's Passing. Working closely with Santi, he would often say "this ain't my first rodeo" and " do I need to put down my Coach bag and come over there" I can hear him laughing. I will miss our telephone chat sessions and treasure my memories. Until we meet again. My sincerely sympathies to Jimmy and Santi's families and friends.

Querido Jimmy,
Siento mucho lo ocurrido a Santi. Los dos sabemos que ahora él se encuentra en un mejor lugar donde no existe más dolor, el siempre estará contigo Jimmy, su espíritu y buena voluntad serán parte de ti a donde vayas. Sé que hubieses deseado pasar más tiempo con él pero ten presente que el tiempo que compartieron ustedes dos juntos significó mucho para él. Santi te amaba demasiado y sé que lo extrañarás mucho.
Mi más sentido pésame en estos momentos difíciles.
Todos sufrimos por la muerte de un amigo, estas han sido unas semanas de los más tristes de nuestra vida, porque tambien sentimos una enorme pena por la perdida de Paul otro de nuestros amigos. Seguro que se encontraran alla arriba y se tomaran unas cervezas juntos.
Una vez más pienso que los humanos, no sabemos nada del misterio de la vida, del porqué Dios injustamente, nos quita a las personas queridas truncando las ilusiones futuras pero, sus recuerdos es algo que pervivirá para siempre, nunca nadie nos lo puede arrebatar. Descansa en paz amigo!

We would like to extend our sincerest condolences to the family, friends, and well wishers of Santi.
It was truly a blessing and an honour for me to have worked with and known Santi for 11 years. He was an excellent mentor, guide, and leader who was visionary, highly intellectual, wise, firm and assertive in his decisions while being extremely sensitive, emotional, and caring towards the needs and concerns of others.
He was a very humble and a warm human being who had very hard and highly disciplined work ethics and we both complemented each other in work performances and tasks.
I know that I will never have a colleague and friend like him throughout the rest of my professional career - he was truly one of a kind!
With each passing day, our memories of Santi and the time that we had spent together will be strengthened.
Santi will indeed be deeply missed throughout our lives.
May God bless his wonderful soul and his family.
We hope we meet again in another lifetime.

We both having similar Latin backgrounds, and therefore we shared many stories together over lunch and coffee breaks about our families and customs. He was a kind soul and I am so blessed to have worked and known him. He made me laugh and I considered him not only as a colleague but as a friend.
