I was so sorry to hear about Ernie's passing . We worked together at American Express many years ago, Ernie always had a smile and was always good humoured. He spoke kindly of everyone, was a team player and always willing to help his colleagues. I remember how kind he was when my Mom passed away many years ago. Memories of good people are carried with you through life. Sincere condolences to Ernie's family. Wendy Lowe (nee Harrison)

Dear Helen, Kayla & Christian;
It has been many years since I have seen Ernie....but he is the kind of person that resonates in our memories. He DJ'd my sweet 16 party, back in the 80's. As a teen, and as grown man with his own family he was always smiling, happy & kind.
Please accept my sincerest condolences. I hope you may find peace, together, in time. God Bless!
Sincerely, Christine Papaeliou

Dear Teta Lenche, Kayla & Christian,
Eddy and I send our deepest condolences to you and all of your family.
Your Ernie has always been one of the kindest, funniest, and most gentle people that we've ever met. Always so calm and quiet -- and yet so funny! He has always been an excellent role model of how to be a wonderful supportive husband and father. Just a great human being.
We will miss him so much when our families get together. We are praying for you all -- and for him. God bless him.

I first met Ernie in elementary school at St Sylvester, in the subdivision we lived in, Silver Springs. He was in grade 8. I was in grade 6. He was always a soft-spoken, kind, friendly & gentle person. He then told me that we were actually distantly related, my mom being from the same town/city as he, Malabon. In a way, this made us feel more connected.
We then reconnected in high school at Francis Libermann. Later on, I would occasionally see him in get-togethers with other Libermannites. He was always very nice to me. He will surely be missed by all.
My deepest condolences to his wife Helen & the rest of the family. My thoughts & prayers are with all of you, at this most difficult time. May God Bless you all during these trying days ahead. May Ernie Rest In Eternal Peace.

He will be missed, however, always remembered for his kindness, humor and the love for his family. My sincere condolences to his loved ones. May one day we meet again.

Ernie was my closest friend. There were less than a half a dozen Filipinos back in grade 9 when we met at Francis Libermann. He loved to play basketball back then, and until what is now his last scrimmage early sunday morning. Last time we got together was after the first lockdown was lifted in the summer of 2020, but kept ourselves amused in our Signal messenger group. I’ll miss the banters. And now we pray for his soul. I am having a hard time processing that he will not be around anymore. Rest in eternal peace Ernie. Without you “Uncle Ernie,” the void in my heart, in this family, and in this world can never be filled. Your love, your kindness, your generosity, your selflessness and thoughtfulness were without question…..unmatched. Your light and your presence will never be forgotten but I can’t help but feel cheated that you were taken from us far to soon.
You were the little brother that I had always wanted but, it is me who aspired to be more like you…..you made us all want to be better…..you made this family better. You saw the good in everyone and everything.
I miss you!
Love

My sincerest condolences to Ernie's entire family. He was a pillar amongst all of us here at GBT and when speaking with his direct peers yesterday the message was clear - Ernie was a kind soul who always stopped to help his team with anything they needed. It could be a shift swap or a complex exchange, he always jumped in to help them out. He always provided amazing service to our clients and it was reflected in comments they had about his service always. He will be missed and remembered fondly. May he rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to your family during this difficult time.
I first worked with Ernie 20 years ago, I was new to the company, and he had enough patience to stay late with me and teach me how to troubleshoot a file that I had difficulties working on. He was always kind, and helpful throughout the rest of my time with Amex. Years later, I had the pleasure of working with Ernie again, and his positive, fun-loving, and thoughtful personality hadn't changed a bit. I am truly honoured to have worked with him, and grateful to have known him.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
