Obituary of Mrs. Flora Isabelle McCracken

It is with sadness that the family of Flora Isabelle McCracken (Hayman) announce her passing on Tuesday, June 15, 2021.

Flora Isabelle McCracken, age 88, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children after a short battle with cancer. She was a devoted wife to her predeceased husband, Thomas Allen McCracken. She was a loving and dedicated mother to her children Thomas William McCracken & wife Suzanne; Elzabeth Jane Roberts & husband Cam and Jason Alexander McCracken & wife Mirella. “Grandma” cherished and loved her grandchildren the most – they lit up her life: Jordon Roberts, Matthew McCracken and Rachel McCracken.

She is survived by her sisters Carol Grant, Elaine Witts and sister-in- law Betty Hayman and is predeceased by her brothers William Hayman; David Hayman; her sister Mary McCracken; brother-in-law John McCracken and sister-in-law’s Rosemary Hayman and Joan Sayliss. Isabelle affectionately known as “Auntie Belle”, is survived by many nephews and nieces, who were very dear to her heart.

Due to current restrictions, there will only be a private family service for Isabelle which will be held, graveside at Resthaven Cemetery officiated by Reverend Ellen on Friday, June 18, 2021 where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Thomas Allen McCracken.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a donation be made to the Cancer Society of Canada in her memory.
