Deepest condolences to Mehernosh and to dearest family and friends who have known this lovely woman Josephine. It was an honour to have met this woman for a short period of time however that was one of the precious time I could never forget. She was one of the strongest person - strong mind, strong beliefs and motivated to get better. Even though I only got the chance know her for a short period of time I was able to get enough information about her- how she is so loved by her beloved husband and how much she knows that and how quiet she is that some nurses thought she has language barrier but really she is an intelligent woman who likes to observe. She also shared how much she loved her husbands chicken noodle soup. We are so blessed to have an angel looking out for us right now. As her nurse during that time, I tried to be there by her side, to make her feel like she is not alone as it is hard to be apart especially from her husband who she’s been with for 47yrs. I also read her the note from her church and said prayers while I placed the cloth on her forehead as instructed. She was so wonderful and such a beautiful woman. I feel so blessed to have known her. I’ve been praying for this couple since the day I met Josephine. God is so good as he connected me to Mehernosh. Heaven has gained another beautiful angel looking after all of us. May God continue to bless each one of us!

Dear Mr. Mehernosh Damania,
It is with deep sadness I learnt of Josephine’s death. It appeared to me so sudden, as I only saw her answering questions at fellowship time a couple of weeks prior.
I knew her as a God fearing lady well versed in scriptures.
Our joy and hope is in the coming of our saviour when the dead in Christ will rise first.
We look forward, great joy awaits.
God bless and be with you.

I met Josephine at Tai Chi several years ago. Being from Singapore as Josephine was, we delighted in sharing memories of how we grew up there from education to the culinary flavours of street food and hawker centres. During our short break, Jo as she liked to be called, would drink special tea from her Thermos. We also exchanged our travel experiences as we both travelled extensively. Jo did not miss a step or a count even after months away from Tai Chi.
Jo is caring as well as spiritual. She prayed for my healing of lung cancer and assured me that miracles happen.
I will miss Jo.

I knew Josephine from the tai chi classes we both attended and I chatted with her occasionally during the pandemic. She was always a kind and thoughtful person. I remember her telling me about line dancing which she seemed to really enjoy. During the pandemic, she wasn’t doing much tai chi but she enjoyed going to a cardiac program with her husband. She seemed such a happy, contented person. I am very sorry to hear of her passing. I will miss her smile and her caring demeanour.

Tribute from Rosalind Yong from Singapore:
"Deeply sorry to know Josephine has passed away.
A few of us do recall first meeting Josephine in the early '70s. She had never wavered in her faith and trust in God and His commandments since. She set a wonderful example for us all. We appreciated that she kept in touch with us all these years, and was always caring and encouraging. Jo and Mehernosh visited Singapore about every 2 or 3 years. Their last visit was November 2017 and we always enjoyed catching up with them. She was a wonderful wife, had a gentle disposition and was a great listener. She was never intrusive yet caring and concerned over others’ well-being.
Mehernosh’s tribute to Jo was lovely. It showed his deep love and admiration for his lovely wife. It was also an enlightening brief description of what our life journey is all about and the precious knowledge of her resurrection and his cherished hope to be together again. In short, it gives hope to a positive outcome to many who have lost loved ones too. This is an invaluable outline of God's plan for man for all who read his tribute.
May our Father continue to give Mehernosh strength each day to carry on and to dwell on the wonderful memories he has of her, that he be comforted with the knowledge that Jo’s struggle and pain have ceased with her Spirit returning to God and time will ease his pain. This would be Jo's desire too.
Love
Brethren in Malaysia, Indonesia & Singapore."

Josephine dear, I am very sorry that I forgot to mention in my eulogy that
you as a nurse took great care of me during three critical moments;
1. I had a triple by-pass surgery in 1997. You managed to convince my cardiologist to wean me of the cardiac drugs by leading a heart healthy way of life. I am still trouble free for the last 23 years. I will miss our regular walks together.
2, I, as a pedestrian, was knocked down by a car and had suffered head fracture, double vision and had triple fracture of my knee. I was hospitalised for over 64 days. Thanks be to God that I fully recovered, except for the fact that I was often forgetful from head injury to which you had to put up with for the rest of your life.
3. Further you saved my life in Mexico during the 2019 FOT when I swam backstroke far into the deep. I could not return and was drowning. Thanks be to God that you was keeping an eye on me. You yelled at the life guard for help, who came with his motor boat and rescued me.
In a way you were my guardian angel and a joy of my life- God's gift to me!
I will always remember these events for which I am very much indebted to you.
Your husband Mehernosh who will miss you every moment till we meet again!

My Very Dearest Darling Josephine: I have always loved you and will miss you every minute of the day my better half. Only God can help me to manage my life without you,
However this is not the end of the journey. You have just finished the race. When our Savior returns, He will raise a shout and death in Christ will rise again first before the saints who are living, On His return we shall live in eternity with no sorrow nor pain nor grief. It will not be long now.....
As stated in Psalm 116: 15, “The death of one that belongs to the LORD is precious in His sight.” I hope and pray that your Spirit is well received by God the Father as Yahushua Ha Mashiach, our Saviors mediates on your behalf. I will be delighted to see the Eternal Crown and new name you will receive and how the Good Lord will use your talents, skills and faith for all Eternity. There are more heavenly bodies than all human beings every lived. I know that you can design a heavenly body/or a planet better than I can with your skills and talents magnified as a Spirit being.
God be with you till we meet again ! My dearest love Your ever loving husband, Mehernosh
