Obituary of Mr. Nicholas Stan

Nicholas Stan lived a full and happy life of 97 years. Survived by his loving wife Mary of 67 years, together in their home for 65 years.  A caring father to the late Murray, daughter Marilyn and husband Ross. The most loving Gramps to Meaghan (Jeff) and Rachel (Matt) and proud Great Grandpa (GG) to Hailey.  Born July 15th 1923 on the family homestead in Dysart, Saskatchewan.  Raised by his Romainian parents John and Maria along with his 8 siblings Bill, Con, Eve, George, Jack, Lee, Mary and Val.  Nick was a successful Electronic Salesman and always "Mr. Fix It."  His passion for music and talent with the saxophone was legendary. He had a love for golf, curling, photography and watching hockey.  Nick was an avid reader, until his sight declined because of Macular Degeneration.  He was loved by so many and left his mark with everyone he met.  He will live on in all of our hearts
