Farewell my beautiful Mother – I will miss you deeply. I thank God for the time He has given me with you to bring you joy and to shower you with my Love. You are gone too soon - I was hoping and praying fervently for a few more years with you, but I take comfort that you are resting in the arms of God and that you are out of your pain and suffering. To my beautiful Nen Nen/Godmother; Aunty Micey/Aunty Greta, it’s so hard to say goodbye to you. My heart is torn when I reflect on the beautiful, vivid memories I have of you, going way back to my childhood days in Guyana. My kids were blessed to have known you, & spend some of their childhood summers in Canada with you, (trips they looked forward to yearly). I will always love ❤️ you, & cherish your memories in the depth of my heart. It’s overwhelmingly sad, for me & our entire family to have to bid you farewell. Now I have to mourn the loss of my 2 mothers in the space of a month & a half apart. God bless you Nen Nen for a job well done, may your soul rest in peace, & rise in glory.

My fond memory of Greta was her staunch support of Sandra's backyard, Caribana bar-b-q's back in the day. Rain or shine, regardless of the number of friends who descended on her household - and the numbers grew every year- she welcomed us all and fed us with her delicious fried rice and noodles that remains unsurpassed today.
May you Rest in eternal Peace Greta. You presence here will be missed. But we know that you'll probably waste no time in cooking up a storm for the Greatest Bar-B-Q of all, in the presence of your Almighty Father and your loved ones who returned home before you.
