Erika and Werner Scheliga.
We called her Resi and we got in touch regularly by phone to find out how we are coping with life and encourage each other to keep going. Before Covid, we took Resi and Helmut along to our monthly Communion Breakfast at St. Patrick's downtown and it was nice to see each other.
Resi was a gifted person, she could sew, cook and much more. She was honest and always helpful and generous, a good Wife, Mother and Grandmother. We knew each other through Kolping for over 50 years and got together at our annual picnic.
Last time, when Erika wanted to call her, she had to leave a message because she was not home. Michael called back to let Erika know that she had been admitted to the Hospital and he will keep us informed.
Then, on Friday April 16th we got the call from Hedwig Hoedlmoser that she passed away the night before. This was a shock to all of us and completely unexpected.
We will never forget her, may she now rest in peace!! May God bless her !!
