Obituary of Mrs. Verree Haroldine Margaret Mercier

Mercier, Verree Haroldine Margaret - In her 85th year, passed away peacefully, on April 4th, 2021, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, with her family by her side.

She was born to parents Daniel and Doris Trumble on December 5th, 1936 in Belleville, Ontario.

Verree became the proud wife of Thomas "Tim" Mercier in 1959 (43 years). Verree was a fiercely devoted Mother and is survived by her two children, Bruce and Sharleen (Peter Valle), as well her four grandchildren, Tyler Thomas, Dayna, Gavin and Paige. Verree was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. 

In recent years Verree was unable to enjoy the family Cottage but some of her most cherished memories were made there. She loved tending to her flowers, swimming, sharing laughs, entertaining friends as well as spending time with neighbors and family. These were special moments in time and she will be dearly missed by all.

A private family service will be held on April 9th at Ogden Funeral home. Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
