On behalf of the Scarborough Amateur Radio Club I wish to offer our sincere condolences on the passing of Jim Shantora VE3JUS. Jim was an avid amateur radio enthusiast and he made many excellent contributions to the club. Our condolences to the whole family with the loss of such a wonderful person! He will truly be missed. Between emails and calls, he’s been in my life from a little girl. A master of ceremonies at my wedding and adviser during my lifetime. Meeting your old country family in Czech to reunite James with them was an adventure for us also. They were so happy we gave them the contact info for James and Winston. He will always be in my heart. Our sympathy is with you all! All our love Helen & Václav
