Obituary of Ms. Guihua Li 李桂花女士

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Guihua Li, on March 15th, 2021, at the age of 77. 

Guihua passed away peacefully at The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre after a lengthy battle, her devoted family by her side.

Throughout her illness she remained an optimistic, caring and kind person, as she was throughout her life.

As a pediatrician in China, she was dedicated to the health of children and was responsible for helping many families throughout her long career.

She will be dearly missed by her loving husband Guoping Tan, devoted daughters Lin Tan (Fang Wang) and Teresa Tan (Hunter), cherished grandsons Zijian and Brandon, as well as the many friends she cultivated with such ease.

She was predeceased by her parents Yansui Li, Guilan Han and brother Xianshi Li in China.

The family wishes to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff at The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre for the compassion and care provided to Guihua over the years.
