Dear Norine, Pam, Paula and Sandy
It’s with a heavy heart and sorrow I’d like to express my grief with the passing of Don. I have such fond childhood memories of the many family get together‘s we shared in Toronto and Whitby. Don was always gracious, kind and generous, he will be terribly missed.

Dear Norine, Pam, Paula and Sandy.
I'm so sorry to hear of Don's passing. He was such a positive, caring person. I fondly remember the family gatherings at Aunt Bea and Uncle Charlie's house, where we kids would crowd around card tables in the living room while the adults sat at the dining room table. Uncle Don was always ready to lend a hand or a smile. It was wonderful to see Don and Norine at my mother's 85th birthday party a few years ago, and I am grateful that the two of you kept the family bond alive.
Much love to you all.

My deepest condolences to the entire Family of Robert (Bob) Landon Spencer.
I did have the pleasure of meeting Pam's parents Robert and Norine due to
Pam and Juergen's wonderful wedding in Toronto! Everyone looked so beautiful,
and an emotional happy day for us all to see her go down the aisle and "tie the knot"
with Juergen!
Today, I had the honour to learn more positive things about Robert's life by reading his obituary.
My father was one year off his birth date. I was thinking hmm my father had also attended
Humber Collegiate and University of Toronto. I am now thinking they might have known each other!

It was very sad to hear of Bob's passing. Reg and I greatly enjoyed our Christmas dinners together, and I know that Reg looked forward to spending time with Bob at the Argo's game. Bob was a caring man whose sense of humour always put a smile on our faces. Norine, our friendship with you and Bob is something that Reg treasured, and one that I will always remember with great fondness. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. Fondly, Gerry McArthur

How very, very much I will miss my good friend Bob! We had many good times together. Our excursion North in my 67 Triumph Spitfire. Still not certain how he shoehorned his entire frame in there.
I will also never forget the time I thanked the Knox Choir for their great work over the Advent & Christmas season. When I left the sanctuary there were peels of laughter. So much so, I had to go back and ask what I had said wrong. To which they responded in unison, 'Bob said; Who was that?'
My best memory however, will be our annual outing to an Argos game. I was truly impressed by Bob's knowledge of the finer points of the game. But what really impressed me, was the fact that he was never tempted to finish more than half a bag of his beloved peanuts. But always saved half the bag to take home to Norine!
Norine (with an i) and family he will be dearly missed by us all. But most of all by you. Always remember that if we didn't love them, it wouldn't hurt! And loved him you did!
My sympathies and my prayers are with you all!

Uncle Don, we will miss you. I have lots of memories from visiting you and Aunt Norine and the cousins at your house. And the long drive back to Kitchener falling asleep in the backseat, the three Spencer brothers singing at our wedding and in recent years getting together with the extended Spencer family when we could get ourselves organized!
Many memories to cherish. Aunt Norine, Pam, Paula and Sandy and families, please know that we are thinking of you.
Love, Laurel (Spencer), Craig, Morgan and Madeleine Christmann

Bob was such a sweet gentleman whom we met at Knox United when Ron and I needed a new church when our church closed.
He always made me feel so welcome....always asking me how I was....after he had taken off his choir gown. I will miss talking to Bob during coffee hour and seeing him singing with the choir every Sunday when Knox is open once again.
I shall never forget him. Deepest condolences to his family.

Bob,
I remember the night Sandy and I got engaged. She worked that night at the hospital so we were late in coming over to tell you the news and woke you up. You crushed my tiny 5'8" height in a great big bear hug and made me feel part of the family right away.
I remember our barbecues and your steak cooking technique of "the steaks are done when we finish a beer". We drank OV.
I remember our family trip to PEI and the church dinners of all you could eat chowder, mussels and lobster. I'd never experienced that before and it was truly amazing. I remember all of the family holidays and the times we had together.
There are so many fond and happy memories. I'll miss you very much but will see you again one day for another steak and beer.
Love Mark
