I was deeply saddened to learn of Norma's passing. We became good friends ever since she married my cousin Percy. She had a great sense of humour and was always fun to be with. She will be greatly missed. My condolences to the family!

Sad to read obituary this morning on the loss of your mother Norma. We have had the honour and privilege of knowing her for many years when she and her sister Marge came to JCCC Wynford Senior Club. They brought so much joy and happiness to everyone with their kind friendly personality. It was a joy to meet them at many happy occasions. We are forever grateful for her volunteer service together with her sister they gave to JCCC. Will miss her very much. We send our love compassion and condolences to Norma’s family.

Dearest Norman, Mark & families,
It is with great sadness to hear of the passing of your beloved Mom, Grandmother, Great Grandmother.& of course our dear auntie.
She will always be much loved & missed by all of us. As a child, I always loved going over to your place & seeing my exceptionally glamorous Japanese auntie. She had style that only she could exude without effort. In fact, perhaps I picked up my passion for 'hula' dancing from her, as I remember learning to do 'pearly shells dance' & I still covet my shells with fond memories of Auntie Norma. She always had that beautiful smile ready for me whenever she greeted me!
I am only sorry that our last visit back to Toronto in May 2019, that we were unable to see your Mom nor any of you. It's a wonder that was our last visit & that only less than a year after that, the world would be shut down in this way.
It was just this past Christmas that Norman & I were last in touch & hoped to connect via a video call which we will do in the coming weeks.
2020/1 was a very terrible year of loss for many. I know that my Dad who we lost last year, would have been very sad to hear of your Ma's vibrant life being stifled too.
We have many fond memories of our childhood together that will carry us through this difficult time, but here are a few memories that I had access to remotely from my hospital bed, mostly shared by Norman over the years. We have many from our childhood which we will share in due course.

In this time of sorrow, I would like to express my heartfelt condolences to you and your family. Only God can know the depth of your feelings and only He can restore your spirit
After the tears have subsided and the goodbyes have been said, all we have of the person that passed are the shared memories and the experiences that impacted many lives. This is what keeps them alive in our hearts and in our minds. Tell the grand children about her stories and how fortunate they are to be standing on the shoulders of an amazing person.
