Bill was a wonderful man. I used to very much look forward to him coming out to shoot a match on a Wednesday night.
He was inspiring. It seemed that everyday was a good day to him. We should all live that way.
I know that they have wonderful shooting ranges in Heaven.
Show 'em how to do it Bill.
God Bless

Our sincere condolences to the family of our Uncle Bill.
I have many fond memories of your father, mother and you - my cousins.
I watched the recorded service and you brought back many of those memories . Well done !
Your father was a wonderful man who was always helpful , giving and tenacious among many other qualities I remember.
My most favorite memory of your dad and your family was at Christmas when we would all gather and enjoy the music
that your dad and you all loved to play ( on the many musical instruments) and of course the great food that your mom and our other aunts would prepare for all to enjoy.
Rest in Peace Uncle Bill.
Much Love Steve Neil and Dawn Miles

My family and I got to know Bill at the retirement home. We became very fond of Bill, as everyone there did. Bill was the most kind and gentle soul. He was always helping others and making an effort to talk to everyone, he made everyone's day better. There is no one as wonderful as Bill. He adored my Mom's dog, Mia, and would get down on the floor to be with her because she is so little. Bill will be forever missed and loved. He was a true gentleman and a dear friend. Forever in our hearts.

Grampy will be very missed. He lived a wonderful life and I am great full I had the chance to know him.
He is one of the only people I know In their 90’s that was willing and able to use a cell phone and I loved being able to FaceTime and text him to make sure he had a chance to see airlie and Ellie over the past few years. We will miss him ❤️

To my wonderful cousins, and your extended families, please accept our sincerest condolences at the loss of Uncle Bill. There are far too many memories to count of the yearly celebrations - always with a touch of music - that our displaced 'Torontoscotia' group enjoyed together.
And I found, with his willingness to share an enviable bank of knowledge and experience, that listening to Bill was just the ticket for a young man starting out as I approached adulthood.
We can all only hope to live as decent and fulfilling a life as his. I'll miss him.

Don, Dave, Grant, and families,
Memories of the good times and trips we shared together with your mom and dad will always bring a smile.
Bill was an interesting and accomplished man and in what must be an understatement “a unique character”. Always a gentleman and always willing to help. We will miss him.

I was so sorry when we got word of Bills passing. Fran and I often spoke of the memories we have of the impromptu fiddle playing sessions and warm gatherings we had so many times at 77 Confederation Drive. It was a long time ago but still brings a smile. Bills life was well lived and touched many lives in very positive ways. He will be missed. Our heart felt condolences to all those he leaves behind.

I met Bill when he moved into the retirement residence where my mother lives. They both became good friends and I always enjoyed chatting with Bill. For me Bill was the definition of a true gentleman. He will be missed!

So very sorry to hear of Bill's death. So many wonderful memories of Bill and Lottie when they and the boys would come home to NS and we (Stew, Bert, Marilyn and Dave Thompson0 would be in Oxford on vacation as well. Bill was a great person and he will be truly missed. I also visited Bill and Lottie for a couple of days once when my husband, Paul Moore had meetings in Toronto. I enjoyed our telephone conversations over the years. Deepest sympathy to the family! Marilyn Moore

A wonderful man. Whenever I hear an accordion, I think of Uncle Bill playing and dancing around Nana Demings dining room table. RIP Uncle Bill.

Dad I knew you for 56 years (was just 16 when we met.) So many memories and especially those that bring a smile to my face and a good laugh. One of my favourite sayings “Don’t cry because its over, SMILE because it happened”. Your grandsons will miss you too. A photo to share from when you visited so long ago. Give Bob a big hug for me.
