Our hearfelt and deepest sympathies to the children, grandchildren and all family members of dearest Aunty Sheila. We will always cherish the many memories of her kindness, her giving nature and the little "hugs" we all would receive from her, whenever we were together. We cannot be there in person, but we are all there in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace Aunty Sheila, you are now with our heavenly father.

Rest in Heavenly Peace, Sister Sheila.
My mom (Sis. Basmath) loves you very much and is very sad that she did not get to say goodbye and see you for the last time. We will miss you asking all of us "how you do". You remember everyone, by names. From 1999, when I got to know you, you became family to us. My mom knew you before that time. She would cook and bring food for you and hang-out with you so often. And then you would send her back with food too....with lots of pepper but oh, so delicious. We will miss you dearly, and so sorry that due to the times, we cannot be there in person to say goodbye.
We love you and miss speaking with you in these last days.

To the children of Mamma Auntie Shiela my deepest and sincere condolences on the passing of your loving, caring, and everyone's mother that touches her heart. I have known Auntie Shiela from back home Good Faith Mahaicony Guyana as a child growing up. She was always that loving hard working mother with a big smile in her face going down the road with her two ice cooler in her hands to the school to sell her refreshing lovely Ice fluttie Then when I came to Canada I tried to get in contact with her yesrs after she was happy and really wants to see me. I started visiting her but for the last few weeks I haven't visited her because I wasn't feeling well. I went last week prepare some stuff for her the phone was ringing out and I was told by some one that knows her very well that she no longer lived in the building. I was so worried because she never get her favourite porridge. Mamma you will be surely missed by all your love ones and all the lovely people that cares for you. Continue to sleep in heavenly Peace my dear mother.

My dear cousins, Richard, Cedric, Rohit, Eric and their extended families: I regret that I cannot be with you, physically, on the passing of Aunty Shiela. However, my heart knows what you are feeling; everyone must pass away sometime. We are blessed when we share good memories with the decease, and everyone death is like our own. Your grief will ease with time but you will never forget the good times, especially of your mother.
Aunty Shiela was especially kind, loving and outgoing. She was a good friend of my mom, Phillomena - she called her Aunty Phill, and I'm sure to many folks she met in her 80 plus years of living. You can tell how sound was her motherly and caring qualities by talking to her wonderful sons Richard, Cedric, Rohit, Eric or Timmo (who passed away when he was just a boy)...Out of a loving and caring mother, Aunty Shiela.
I had promised, myself and her, to attend her funeral, some years ago, but, now I can't. Perhaps, we shall meet again in the after-life or in my dreams.
Rest In Peace , Aunty Shiela.
