Obituary of Mrs. Christina Ng

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother Christina Ng, peacefully into the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ on February 21, 2021.

We love because He first loved us.

Christina was the loving heart of our family. Husband Peter, sons Alvin and Colin, daughter-in-law Lily, and granddaughters Cora and Naomi cannot express how much we will miss her tender care, godly guidance, and warm, joyful spirit.

Throughout her 77 years, Christina was used by God to bless many others through her friendship, guidance, care, and ministry. First at University of Toronto (Scarborough Campus), then ministry at North York Chinese Baptist Church, then abroad to reach out to Chinese communities in Chile, Peru, and Panama, and in retirement back to Toronto with the Mandarin-speaking congregation at NYCBC. The Lord brought many friends and loved ones into Christina’s life and she shared His love with them all, joyfully and without limit.

We are incredibly grateful for the loving support that has been poured out from brothers and sisters in Christ, as well as from family and friends. The stories and memories of how much Christina has been treasured in their lives are wonderful and profoundly meaningful as we mourn the loss of her for now, and help us to look forward to the day when we will be reunited in God’s presence.
