To Those I Love And Those Who Love Me
When I am gone, release me, let me go.
I have so many things to see and do.
You mustn’t tie yourself to me with tears, I gave you my love and you can only guess, how much you gave me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you each have shown
But now it’s time I travel on alone
So grieve for a while for me, if grieve you must
Then let your grief be comforted by trust that it’s only for awhile that we must part
So carry the memories within your heart, and when you need me I will be there
Through you can’t see or touch me. And if you listen with your heart
You will hear me with love around you soft and clear
And then, when your time must come this way,
I’ll greet you with a smile and say “Welcome Home”
