I am so saddened to hear of Dave's passing. I met Dave (aka Elvis) back in our university days at Brock and we have been great friends since. Over the years, we shared many wonderful memories. Dave had such a warm smile and a great sense of humour. Whether we were taking a trip through Europe or camping in the rain with the girls, Dave would always find something to joke about no matter what the situation. My heartfelt condolences to Kristen, Amanda, Melanie, Jill, Linda, Kim and Sue. Rest in Peace my dear friend. I will really miss you.

So sad to hear of Dave's passing. I will always be 'Bird' to him. His warm smile, rosy red cheeks and laughter will remain in my memory forever. I'm honoured to have been friends with Dave when I met him in '87 working together at RED Electronics back in his K-Car days that we'd always joke about. Although I moved to Vancouver since '94 & we wouldn't chum together nearly as much anymore, we'd still occasionally stay in touch through the years at industry conferences or when I'd come back to visit family in Ontario to catch up. I'll miss you Dave and shall cherish the fond memories. And despite the sorrow and pain today, I still managed a couple of chuckles recalling our past.

What started as a business relationship some 20 years ago turned into great friendship. I went through some difficult times a few years back and Dave was always calling me to see how I was doing and always offering words of encouragement. We both had girls so always discussed the things that were going on in both our kids lives and he was always so proud of them and shared many great stories.
Just a great guy with a positive attitude all the time. I will miss him through work but more importantly I'll miss him for the friendship we had together

Dave, my co-worker was one of the good guys, but more importantly he was a good friend to me. He was a great role model who by example proved that instead of worrying about circumstances beyond your control, shift our minds to what we can positively share with others. I will always cherish the various touch points of our friendship over the past 20 years, from attending my wedding to our occasional Friday meets to share laughter over our meals. Dave thanks for sharing your zest for life with me. You have impacted my life in many ways and will be missed but never forgotten. Some at our home for back yard parties and dinners. Others at Dave & Busters with our kids. Our Dave & Buster outing became an annual event. We often talked about life and family as our girls played in the arcade section..."Good Times" ! He was proud of his girls and all of his life decisions had their best interests at heart.
