Obituary of Mr. Salvador Nasello
Salvador Joseph Nasello passed away quietly and peacefully on December 31, 2020 at Michael Garron Hospital. He was welcomed into Heaven by our parents, Mario (1963) and Josephine Nasello (2011) and brother, Edward (1951), whom he loved dearly.
Salvador will be forever missed by his lifelong partner, Sharon Fitzhenry of Uxbridge, his brother Frederick, sister Lillian Facchini and his youngest brother Edward (Demi). He will be fondly remembered by his nephews and niece, Daniel Facchini, Marla (Adam) Smith, Peter (Vero) and Mark (Alyssa) Nasello and his great nieces and nephew, Addisyn and Xavier Smith and Loretta Nasello.
Salvador was a kind and gentle man; he enjoyed large family gatherings and his time in Uxbridge. He was a great source of guidance and support to many people. His soft spoken voice and genuine care for others was a unique quality that will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Professionally, Salvador had an illustrative career spanning nearly 60 years in architectural design. In partnership with Oscar Zaretsky they founded Z & N Construction, building and managing countless properties throughout the GTA. He continued to work at the office up until this spring when he finally retired. His weekends were often spent in the hills of Haliburton with his beloved Sharon. Family and friends were frequent visitors and he would regroup and recharge his batteries in the outdoors.
Salvador will be missed by a large extended family of cousins and relatives. Although we know that Salvador touched many lives, due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private service will be held in his memory. In the future, when circumstances permit, a celebration of life will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations to can be made in Salvador’s name to Niagara Children’s Centre www.helpkidsshine.ca , a children’s treatment centre located in the Niagara Region that serves children with communicative and developmental delays and/or Michael Garron Hospital Foundation https://www.mghf.ca/, where he was cared for in his final days.
