Mangaleswary Varatharajah was born in Chullipuram Parallai (Murugan Temple) to Vedharniyeswara Kurukkal (father) and Veenavaathavithooshani amma (mother). She was married to Nallur Varatharajah Sharma who was Visvanatha Kurukkal and Chellamma amma's eldest son. She had 6 beautiful children and many beautiful grandchildren who loved her endlessly. Mangaleswary was an incredibly gentle soul, who was known for her infectious smile, kind heart and resilience. She was the kind of woman who would go out of her way to ensure that others felt welcome in her home, always offering food or beverages. Anyone that came across Mangaleswary in their lifetime was lucky to have known her. She will forever be in everyone's hearts as the incredible superwoman she was. May she rest in peace and be the guiding light in her family's lives.
