Dear Karen, Cathy, Lori and Lynn, My deepest condolences to you, on the loss of your Dad. I have many fond memories of your Dad, from our younger years. He was gentle, caring and kind. We were lucky to ride along with you on some of his fun adventures - the best times and I'll never forget them! He was a strong, guiding force for you girls. To the Owen family - we are so sorry for the loss of your father. I remember your Dad and ours standing on the driveway talking about us kids in school and the "new math" we were being taught. They had a real laugh about that and wondered what was so 'new' about it. I also think back to the times your Dad would take you and a bunch of kids from the street into the station wagon to check out some wondrous event in the area. When it was time to get us back into the car it was probably like herding cats but he never seemed to mind; he took it all in stride.
Please know that you are in our thoughts at this time and we send you our condolences and love.

Dear Karen, Cathy, Lori and Lynn:
My sincerest condolences on the passing of your Dad. I have vivid memories of Mr. Owen when we were all growing up on Delawana. He often included me and other neighbourhood kids in your family outings. We’d all pile into the station wagon and embark on an adventure to a park or go for a ride in the countryside (which was not so far away in those days). He and your mom didn’t seem to mind having all the kids make their porch the go-to spot for game playing, Barbie role play and fort building. I remember your dad as being generous, warm, interested and very proud of his girls. May the sweet memories serve as comfort over the coming months.
