Mama was the one who introduced me to my Catholic faith. One day when I was about 8 or 9 years old, I asked her how can I show my love to a God I cannot see? She told me by being kind to others. God is in each and everyone of us so by showing kindness to others is how you show your love to God.
I have kept that lesson in my heart and though difficult at times when we are clouded with negative emotions, I still exercise that lesson because it is the right thing to do.

Wife to the late Rolando Lampitoc, loving mother to eight children, grandmother to nine, and great-grandmother to five.
She was a baker-entrepreneur, successfully fed and raised a large family with very little resources in a brand new country. Went on to work diligently at the chocolate factory to be the solid income earner. Needless to say, my mom gave all that she could to not only help us survive but to thrive in this country.
