Obituary of Mr. John Moore
With heavy hearts, the Moore family is announcing the passing of their beloved father John Owen Moore on Friday, November 6th, 2020.
Born in England on October 20th 1926, John dreamt of a new land and
bravely travelled via steamship in 1953 to Canada where he would settle in Scarborough and raise a family.
In the end it was the passage of Time. Not Scarlett Fever as a child, nor the War in early adulthood. Only Time. Playing Scrabble and doing crosswords, sudoku, or a great game of chess along with a fine single malt scotch.
John will be missed by his three loving children; Michael (Lorraine), Meridith (Rob) and Martin (Julie); and grandchildren Emily and Liam.
Goodbye our beloved Dad, Pop, Grandpa and Uncle John.
Rest In Peace our friend. We are forever loving and missing you.
