When I think of Jackie I think of a beautiful mother who made ripples literally and figuratively, with the most electric smile, and a heartwarming laugh that would fill the room. I will always remember that wonderful memory of when I was at Joe & Tegan's Trailer with Jackie, and the warmth and happiness I felt in her presence. To Tegan and Joe's dismay, the lot was absolutely flooded that week, the water had come up through the forest, and almost right up to the deck from the lake. This moment captures Jackie's spirit perfectly I think, we eagerly saw an opportunity, happily strapped on rainboots together, and like a kid splashing in the puddles, we proceeded to giggle our way through the day, and the swamped property. Simply making ripples. Thinking about Jackie making ripples that day puts a big smile on my face, and I know her ripples will continue to put smiles on the faces of every person she encountered, and impacted dearly.
