Obituary of Mrs. Helene Patsakos

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our loving wife, mother and grandmother, Helene (Eleni) Patsakos, that passed away peacefully at the age of 87 years old, on September 10, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at home. Beloved wife of Petros, proud and devoted mother to James (Dimitra), Nick (Matena) and Panagiotis (Agapi), and the most loving and cherished Yiayia to Eleni Maria, Ioanna Irini, Mariam and Patrick. Helene was born on December 20, 1932 in Amyklai, Lakonia, Greece. Predeceased by her parents, Nikolaos and Tasia, her sister, Pangoita Kavathas (née Dizes) and brother Fr. Alexander Dizes, and is survived by her bother Lenodias Dizes. Helene was sincerely loved by all her nieces and nephews. Viewing: St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church on September 11, 2020 from 4-8 pm. Funeral Service: St Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church on September 12, 2020 at 10:00 am followed by burial service at Pine Hills Cemetery. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating and hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove us he only takes the best.”
