It is with a heavy heart that I say good-bye to my "Uncle Danny" - a kind and gentle soul. He was the patriarch of our extended family and will be sorely missed by all. Always ready to lend a hand to whomever needed it without question. He lived life and loved to party! At our yearly family Christmas functions, he was usually the last one to leave - even outlasting the younger kids. He had a full and wonderful life as he recently reminded me with no regrets - a rewarding career, a loving family, terrific friends and fantastic health until the winter of 2018 when he slipped on the ice and broke his hip - which put a little damper in his dance step. Rest in Peace dear Uncle. Sending love and light to my Aunt Gloria ,Diane (Paul) and Zachary. Dawn and Art Belanger

Danny was as he would say when I'd say how are you? FANTASTIC.
Diane and I were inseparable when we were younger and during those years Danny would call me his second daughter. I respected him and thought of him as my second Dad. He was always smiling and you just knew he enjoyed life and all the people in his life.
Mike and I are eternally grateful for everything he did for us and our wedding reception at the Firefighters Club. He will be sadly missed but never ever forgotten.

Danny McIntyre was a big part of my childhood and teenage life. I spent almost as much time at his house as I did mine. The McIntyres are like family to me. Mr.McIntyre was an incredible role model, and genuine hero on almost a daily basis. In addition to being a loving father and husband, he had 3 jobs...firefighter, electrician and treasurer of the firefighters club. And although he was the busiest man I knew, he always had time for his family and friends. He also showed us how to party. While we were sitting around too high to do anything, the McIntryres, the Irons and their friends would be dancing the night away. The world is a better place for his being here and I will miss him, My heart goes out to Gloria and Diane, and hope we can celebrate his life soon.

The McIntyre home was THE social scene! Whether an event was hosted by Danny & Gloria or by Blake & Diane, the memories are hilarious and the stuff of urban myths and legends.
It is impossible to not smile when I think of Danny. He had a playful nature that seemed to always find humour in most situations. I consciously remember when I was a kid thinking he was the "cool" dad in the hood. Now as an adult, I see a man of character married to a wonderful woman, who together enjoyed an enviable marriage by all measures.
I am very sad today and so sorry for your loss.
Diane, Dave & Jenna Wiley.

A bright light went out yesterday, when Danny was called back to the Lord. Danny was a wonderful man, full of life, humour and love for his family. He was a loving husband to Gloria and a wonderful dad to Diane and the late Blake, and the best Nannu to Zachary. We shall miss his smile and and larger-than-life personality, but we shall never forget him. Our deepest condolences, Gloria, Diane, Paul and Zachary.
